Other Members In Your Household
A yahrzeit is the anniversary of a death. If you want Nehar Shalom to remember the anniversary of death of anyone in your life, please share their information below.
Please include the date, including year, of the person’s death. You are welcome to provide the date on the Gregorian or Hebrew calendars; we will mark the date according to whichever calendar you provide. If you wish to observe the Yahrzeit on the Hebrew calendar but don’t know the Hebrew date on which they died, please use this tool. Rabbi Leora is always available to help with this.
VOLUNTEER CONTRIBUTIONS:
Being a member of Nehar Shalom is an opportunity to co-create our community. Everyone's contributions of time, energy, and financial support help our community to survive, grow, and thrive.
We hope each member of our community will give back in at least one of the ways listed below.
Accessibility and Permissions
As we continue to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, we are establishing guidelines around food allergies and dietary sensitivities in our communal space. To help us do this effectively, we kindly ask that you let us know if you or any of your family members have food allergies (e.g. nuts, shellfish, dairy, gluten, etc), sensitivities, or preferences we should be aware of. Please list them in the "Allergies" box below.
We ask each member household to make an annual or monthly contribution in order to help sustain and grow our inclusive community. As a community rooted in belonging and diversity across class and background, we are proud to offer a range of suggested giving levels. We ask that you consider a pledge that honors both your financial reality and the shared commitment that keeps Nehar Shalom sustainable, vibrant, and thriving for all of us.
Running our beloved shul costs about $1,300 per adult member. We need an average of $825/member in dues to support our community this year, in conjunction with other fundraising efforts. We know not everyone can pay dues at that level, which means we need other members, who are able, to give dues at a higher level. We encourage you to make a pledge that fits with your financial obligations, needs, and abilities while considering the sustainability of Nehar Shalom.
This year we are suggesting four levels of support for the community:
We invite you to give at the highest level that feels comfortable for you.
While we understand that many in our community will need to contribute at the participating share level, we rely on those who are able to give mre to help sustain and strengthen our shared mission. If you have capacity, we encourage you to consider contributing at a higher level - your support makes a meaningful difference.Thank you! We are so glad to have you as part of our community.
