Nehar Shalom leadership has been working hard to balance safety, accessibility, and connection during this time.  As family services will be hosted outdoors under a tent, masking will be optional. However, all indoor services will be mask-required (high filtration or surgical).

Family Services Registration

Children's services will be split into two age groups, 0-5 and 6-12. They will take place on Rosh Hashanah Day 1 (Thursday, October 3rd) and on Yom Kippur morning (Saturday, October 12th). These outdoor experiences will include music, prayers, stories and other activities to introduce children to the themes of the High Holy Days. These services are designed to engage children and family members. We also encourage older children to join the main services their grown-ups are attending.

DONATION

The cost to fund our interactive family services is $54/per family. While members support these costs through their annual dues, we ask those who are not members to help with these costs by making a sliding scale donation while registering for High Holey Day Services.

If you are able to meet your needs financially and have enough to share with others in our community, please consider giving more so we can continue to offer access to our programming free of charge during the holidays and year round.

For our High Holiday Services we rely on community support. We are asking everyone who registers for services to sign up for a VOLUNTEER SHIFT, if you are able.
